About us

PROCURE+i, the Portuguese Competence Centre for Innovation Public Procurement, is a joint initiative of the National Innovation Agency (ANI) and the Institute for Public Markets, Real Estate and Construction (IMPIC), filed on October 13, 2021.

The vision of the Competence Centre (CC) is to promote Innovation Public Procurement (IPP) in Portugal by raising awareness to the advantages of this strategic procurement, facilitating the expansion of knowledge on IPP across all public contracting authorities and improving market conditions to approximate the supply and demand sides.

PROCURE+i is the main platform for those who are unfamiliar with IPP and want to receive more information, guidance, and support. To this end, PROCURE+i offers a set of services:

• Support to applications for funding in the context of PCP-IPP programs.
• Dissemination of good practices and production of manuals and guides
• Legal support
• Workshops and training on IPP
• Intermediation of IPP processes

Our goal is clear: to change the status of low national performance in public procurement of innovation, within five years of its creation.
